“Nick listened to me and looked at my body in a way that nobody else had”
-
I have always had a passion for dance and it was my dream to be a professional dancer/choreographer. I moved to London to train professionally but as the amount of training increased, so did my pain. Eventually it spiralled out of control to the point where daily tasks were almost impossible let alone dance. I sought the help of a Sports Medicine Consultant, looking for any way to manage my pain, and they referred me to see Nick.
He listened to me and looked at my body in a way that nobody else had. His approach was holistic, and by taking an in-depth look at how my entire body moved he was able to identify what was causing the pain. As a dancer this made complete sense to me, but why had no one done this before?!
Nick’s care and attention to detail is unparalleled and with his guidance I was able to see that pain-free movement was possible. I am now a full time pilates teacher, and I have virtually no pain.
I now have the most well rounded understanding of my body. It feels like I’m in control which is something I had completely lost with my chronic pain. I can’t thank Nick enough.

“2 Years of mystery pain, gone in just 5 sessions. I couldn’t believe how quick it worked!”
-
By early 2023, I had completely stopped running which was very disheartening as it had been an important part of my physical and mental wellbeing for a number of years and at this point I was in pain almost every day. I decided enough was enough sought private physio treatment.
I was highly committed to the strength and stretching exercises that I prescribed and felt that I was getting stronger, but several months passed and I realised something wasn’t right - instead of the pain getting better, it was getting worse. I was having more episodes of stronger pain which were seemingly coming on randomly (not triggered by any physical activity) and in new places and new sensations. This really worried me.
Initially, I doubled down on my exercises, interpreting these developments as me not trying hard enough, but this triggered even more pain. I described what was going on to my physio and they said they weren’t sure what the issue was and that I should go down a medical pathway to have further investigations.
After several months I was able to have an MRI, which I was convinced would reveal the reason for my symptoms. However, the MRI came back completely clear. I hoped the Consultant Surgeon could explain but told me to ignore the pain and that it will eventually go away in a year! On the one hand I was glad that it was nothing serious, but confused as to what the issue was and angry that I felt like my pain had been dismissed.
It was several weeks later while I was on holiday in Slovakia with my partner (which had included an multi-day hike that I had to abandon because I was terrified my pain would become unbearable I’d be stuck on the mountain) that I discovered Nick via on social media. His words felt like they spoke directly to me as someone with chronic pain who had been through several iterations of conventional treatment with no avail.
Nick’s consultation was incredibly thorough compared to what I had experienced before; he took the time to both examine my biomechanics in a way no one had before, and listen to the details of my story. When Nick first explained the concept of neuroplastic pain I was initially sceptical but deep down it felt like a revelation that just clicked with everything I’d experienced to date, so I decided to dive fully in.
The treatment was completely different to anything I’d been through before but I found that going into it with an open mind was yielding positive results. I just a few sessions the severity and regulatory of my pain had halved, and by the end of 5 sessions with Nick I was fully pain free. I really couldn’t believe it had succeeded so quickly!
Nick went above and beyond to equip me for a successful return back to running, giving me exercises to strengthen the whole lower body. It’s been a couple of months now and I’ve not had any recurrence of symptoms; I’m incredibly grateful to Nick for helping me get back to living life to the full!

MORE COMEBACK STORIES
I’m playing tennis multiple times a week and running again. It almost feels like magic to me!
EMBER’S RETURN TO THE TENNIS COURT
I visited Nick because I had been dealing with pain in my right foot that had gotten so bad that walking normal distances was not possible. It originally came on the day after I played tennis. I spent the best part of year trying to get rid of this injury seeing multiple physios, consultants & even surgeons. I’ve had at least 4 MRIs, shockwave therapy, steroid injections and just before seeing Nick for the first time I was exploring surgical options. 4 months after seeing Nick I’m now pain-free running and playing tennis. I shudder thinking about how close I came to a surgery I didn’t need!
JIM’S JOURNEY FROM NARROWLY SURVIVING TO THRIVING
I went from barely walking with a stick to podium at the British paratriathlon championships in 8 months!
In 2020 Jim nearly died when he went underneath the wheels of a 16 wheel lorry while out on his bike. He sustained catastrophic injuries including a crushed ribcage and abdomen, multiple spinal fractures, losing his dominant arm above the elbow and nerve damage to one leg. After 4 months in hospital including 6 weeks in a coma, I met Jim and we got to work. Over the next 12 months, Jim redefined what I thought was humanly possible. We still enjoy the odd run together although I can barely keep up with him now, seriously.
YONAH’S STORY - FROM CHRONIC PAIN TO CHAMPION
From 2 years of bilateral foot pain with walking, to flying over the finish line in first place.
Despite months of physio, multiple Dr’s appointments, x-rays and MRIs, Yonah came to me sith pain in both feet that was limiting his ability to walk, let alone run! Within one session it was clear as day what had been missed and we set about to fill in the gaps in his rehab. 5 months later and I received a message from Yonah having not only completed his local Halloween 5km, he’d won it!
