BUT LET’S ADDRESS A COMMON CONCERN
If your pain was because of something physical, I'd agree! Online would NOT be the best option for you.
But nervous system pain plays by its own rules!

In 2022 a group of pain researchers, Drs and neuroscientists embarked on a study to test a treatment for nervous system pain. They worked with 50 people (most had been in pain 10+ years).
Over 4 weeks they worked 1-on-1 with the participants following a 5 step protocol. No medicine, no exercises, just talking and teaching them to retrain their nervous system.
Here's what happened:

My name's Nick and I'm a sports physio and chronic pain coach.
I've worked as a specialist physio for 12 years and have a BSc in Physio and an MSc in Sports & Exercise Medicine.
For years I was oblivious to the role of the nervous system because as I've said many times - we in the medical world are not taught about it. I came across it as a result of my own frustrations; seeing people struggle with pain and nothing I was taught to do could help.

1000% NO! This is real pain, real symptoms. It is just not coming from a physical injury. There are so many tests and experiments showing that our brain can and does create pain in healthy parts of the body.

This is very person specific and it depends on several factors we will navigate together, but my goal is to keep every person I work with moving and exercising as much as possible. It is just about understanding the impact this exercise has on the nervous system

Great question as lots of of my content talks about scans being clear, but what if they are not. The trouble is, when we have scanned people with zero pain, we still find loads of problems. For eg. 50% of people over 30 with zero back pain will still have a disc issue found on MRI.
The point of a scan is to spot damage. So the question is, 'does your pain behave like damage?'. If the pain moves around, appeared without injury, disappears with fun - then it does not present like a typical injury and the answer is usually the nervous system

In the first 12 weeks you will have a 30 min call, approximately 30 mins of content to watch and roughly 15 mins of daily homework. In my experience, this is less time demanding than a exercise based rehab plan, but with much better results!

Most people I work with have. But that is a great place to be as you can go into this with complete confidence that the solution to your pain does not lie with fixing your body.

You might be expecting me to say 'no' but that would be a lie. Since running this course there have been two groups of people who have not achieved results like the ones above…
Their pain is related to a psychological event, trigger or mental health condition. For example, bereavement or abuse. If this is the case, this is beyond what I am equipped to deal with as a physio and sometimes this has only become apparent several weeks into the programme
Someone who's here with the wrong intentions, sometimes I have worked with people who's want for this to work exceeds their true belief it is the nervous system. The trouble is, if the brain is not fully on board, this is a very tricky process
